Catchin up

So my veterans day weekend was awesome! i babysat my adorable niece Friday all day until like, 5 ish which was actually pretty fun despite the cleaning i had to do. Saturday i went horseback riding twice which was SO MUCH FUN!! We ran and rode through the trees. It was a blast. Then on Sunday i had church, then church choir practice, then i went straight from there to my moms for Sunday family dinner, then straight to a fireside at the bishops house. I love the people in my ward and my family, so all of this was extremely fun. (: Good weekend. How was yours?

I didnt really know what to put for a title so..... ya. (: We got our puppy and we changed her name to tink (tinkerbelle). she's so much fun! (: Life is good. it's actually been a crappy few days (weeks).  I hate crappy weeks. well... bye

I'M GETTING A PUPPY!!! I know i said i might but now its for sure!!! :D i'm SO flippin exited! Her name is Rose. She's a puppy out of my sisters dogs litter and its a shih tzu. She's so tiny and black and brown. YAY!!!! :) Here's a pic of what she looks like (not the actual puppy)

Lots 'o' stuff

k so (have you noticed that almost every girl starts a sentence/story with k so?) Ryland is doing a ton better but the doctors are still figuring out how to make it manageable. He has miners (mi-neers, i don't know how its spelled) disease. It's either caused by head trauma or genetics and when he was eight he had a major head injury and we think my great grandpa hancock had it so he kinda didnt stand a chance. haha. I think He'll prob be able to go back out and soon but i'll cross my fingers.

I started EVMCO last night and there were 83 people this time.... wow. so because we got so many new people we get to go on a choir retreat!!!! Oh my gosh im so super exited!! the last one was so much fun!! Also i really really really really really really want you guys to come to my concert this time! sam's whole family came last time so surely my four best friends can come if his entire family can come right? right (: tickets right now will be like 10 or fifteen dollars so get them fast!!! (pretty please?) 


Um.. this is mostly for Dorenes benefit since everyone else knows. I got asked to Homecoming!!! I'm so exited I have a dress that i absolutely love and its gonna be so much fun (:

I finished my mickey mouse project in ceramics today!!! I cant wait to show you guys it's so cool. (: only took me two weeks.... :P

More Bitter Than Sweet....

So you know how my last post was about how my brother just left for his mission? Well.... a few days ago he came home. Since his sophomore year he's gotten vertigo (means you get SO SO SO dizzy, like you fall over and pass out dizzy) off and on. He actually hasn't gotten it for a while though. We thought it was gone for good. Well a little over a week ago he got it again... bad. he stayed in bed for a week and lost like sixteen pounds. he couldn't sleep and because of the lack of sleep he got really bad migraines. They sent him home a few days ago and he got released so he's not an elder anymore. He has to go see a bunch of specialists and hopefully he'll be ordained and back to Canada (well...not back...he didn't get to go yet...) within the next few weeks. So for now that's the news. I'll keep you posted. Keep him in your prayers please.

Bitter Sweet

So this morning my family sent my brother off on his mission. This is surprising even to me but... against the odds.... I'll miss him. I know I know! Crazy right!!? And you'll never hear me admit that again so write it down. This moment needs to be documented. Everyone was crying (including me). K so this is the bitter part, now lets get to the sweet part. We got lots of pictures (which really annoyed my bro. :P). But the really great part is that my brother and his childhood best friend left on the same day, on the same plane, on the same day. It was great for both of them. We didn't need to send them off alone. Goodbye Ry and hello Elder Hancock! I'm really proud of him and I'm rooting (Sp?) for him to be the first guy in my family to stay the whole two years!!! Go Elder Hancock!!! Woo woo! I'll be writing him lots of letters and sending him lots of cookies and such. Oh ya, by the way, He's going to Calgary Canada. The weather their in the winter is like, HI- 7, LO-(-20). He's gonna freeze what little but he has off. Hahaha. The summers their are beautiful though. its like, HI- 75, LO- 68. We told him he should make friends with snow birds with no kids down their and get in on the will so he can inherit the summer house down their and we can go visit. :) Hahahahaha. He's gonna be coming home during the summer two years from now and I really hope we can go pick him up there and stay for two weeks. How awesome would that be!!? I'm kinda in love.... :P seriously. Christina Perri's songs are amazing!! she's the one that sings jar of hearts. she has this song (not sure if its new) called Bang Bang Bang. its flippin amazing. also there's this song called miles (listening to it right now) that is also amazing. :) and her songs are all clean!!! lately that's really hard to find, ya know? and i know some of you don't like her voice (cough Kelcie cough cough) but i love it! its raspy and kinda jazzy sounding in parts. love it. And also my voice is raspy so it kinda makes me happy..... haha. I've never really liked the raspyness of my voice but now i do. :)

Also, thank you Kelcie for introducing me to Adele. :) lovin her songs!! i love her version of chasing pavements and her song Someone like you. They're awesome. she has a raspy sound to her voice too. I'm really starting to love raspy sounding singers. :)

Another song i love.... it's an old song but i still love it. Down together by the refreshments. it's really good. :) This is the song that my family always listens to on our way to, while we're in, or leaving, Mexico. it's the Mexico song. :)

My crazy vacations!!

Hey guys!! :) how are ya!? so, about my vacations.... well like, the first week of summer, i went to salt lake with my sister, brother in law, and 5 month old niece. it was so much fun :) i went because my mco choir as going up there to have two concerts (one of which was in the tabernacle!), and two record our songs for a cd thats coming out in the fall! woo woo! it was so cool! and so much fun! the tabernacle concert was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!! so cool! :) when we were up there we stayed with my CRAZY, but in a good way :), aunt Dinnie. i love her to death! it was an awesome start to my summer.

So i left for my second vaca. the day after i got back from salt lake. insane i know right! :) i went to mexico with my mom, her husband, my sister and her husband and family, and my bro parker and his wife and family, and my other brother. there were 14 of us and we all stayed in the same hotel/apartment. it was crazy fun! i drove up with my sister and her fam and when we were almost to our hotel we got pulled over by 20+ guys in camo with huge guns. it. was terrifying. all the kids were asleep thank goodness. omgsh so scary. my bro in law speaks spanish so he talked to one of the guys and the guy let us go. and then we went to the beach the next day. the beach we went to was perfect. there were rocks that the kids could explore in in one area, and sand to lay the towels out on. one day we went to a place called the blow hole. you stand on a balcony type place over the ocean and water would shoot up... i dont even know how far up above our heads but it was flippin high! it was so cool! we got pics and stuff. also, when we were on the beach we would catch crabs and feed them to the sea sponges. they would close around the crabs and it was kinda cool :) the, i think last, night we were there we read through the guest books that the people who rented our place out kept for people to write how there stay was. in the books, there were like 5 pages that said stuff like, "the ghosts were nice! they didnt scare us that bad." and, "you should call ghost busters". FREEKY RIGHT!? Then we got into ghost stories and stuff and in the middle of them... wait for it..... no youre wrong no ghost popped up.....THE POWER IN OUR ROOMS WENT OUT!!! FREEKY FREEKY FREEKY!!!! BAH!!!! Seriously omgsh... so scared. then, the guys left to go try to turn on the power, leaving me an my sister sitting alone in the dark in a freekin haunted house!(well.... appartment...) It was so scary!! well thats kinda it for now of taylors terrific travels! Ta Ta!!! :)

So me and Dorene were watching julian smith and this is by far my favorite video!!! Its HILARIOUS. :P she put it on her blog too. :) Twinners!!!! bahahahaha i make myself laugh. I wish you guys (as in molly and kel-c) were here. it'd be even more fun!!! love you all!! watch it!!! Oh oh oh!!!! story time :) So today i called dorene and she didn't answer. but then i had to to go to evmco rehearsal and me (stupid me) left the sound on, on my phone. :P she called me back and my phone started ringing really loud singing "forget you". i was all crap crap crap!!! and hung up and (thought) i turned the sound off on my phone then. wrong!! (btw everyone i my choir was laughing. hehehe) and then.... she called again!!! and my phone went off AGAIN!!! This time people laughed really hard and told me my phone was cursed. bahahaha. funny funny. :) it was kinda embarrassing though...but more funny :) my choir director, Brandon, laughed and rolled his eyes, which surprised me. i thought for sure id get yelled at. but nope. ALSO ALSO ALSO!!! I MET COLLIN RAYE!!!! WOOT WOOT (Dorene says "legittttt") He was super nice and down to earth surprisingly. It was awesome :) well... thats all :) Molly I love you mostest mostest times infinity times infinity squared!!! So friday night, after we got back from the easter pageant, me, dorene, and molly came back to my house for a sleepover!!!! It was SO MUCH FUN!!!!! Fair week

So I had a goat entered at the county fair this week. I did name her but it was right when i got her and its been a while so now i forgot. :P hahaha. now its just goat. :) But she got a red ribbon and i got to enter her in the auction. Goats can sell up to like... 1,000 dollars. well at least the kind of goats i have can. Different kinds sell for more. but mine ended up selling for 425. which i'm happy with :) My dad is actually the one who ended up buying my goat. Hahahahaha. he's trading my grandpa my goat, for two pygmys (miniature goats) for our back yard. should be interesting. the two girls Lilly and Layla are terrified of pretty much any animal so it'll take some getting used to on their part. :) Well that's pretty much all that happened this week. Sorry I haven't updated my blog in SO LONG! I've been really busy. :) so to catcha all up, yesterday i took the aims math test. i think i did pretty good. :) but then today i didnt have to go to school till 10 20 because most sophomores were taking the science aims test but i took that last year so i didnt need to go! :D K so now on t o my new phone. I got an awesome one!!!!!!!!! its a samsung touch screen. :-) It has games and pandora and skype..... lots o' stuff. :) Im a little bit in love. haha. So me and kelcie are trying out for one of the inbetween acts at the rock n' roll review at school. she gonna play the piano and i'm gonna sing jar of hearts. its so much fun. right now its my favorite song. :) well..... I guess thats all. TTYL!!
